1) Blood tests- in-house blood machines let us process results quickly.

2) X-rays – state of the art machine allowing rapid diagnosis of many problems. We also do BVA Hip & Elbow scores.

3) Ultrasound- we can do a pregnancy check or more complicated heart and abdominal scans.

4) Endoscopes- very useful for looking up noses or down trachea’s and the oesophagus into the stomach.

5) ECG- allows us to check the rhythm of the heart.

6) Tonopen- checks the pressure inside the eyes to diagnose glaucoma.

7) Microscopes- we can check skin scrapes, urine and blood samples for problems.

8) Blood pressure monitor.

9) Dentals- we have a separate dental suite for fully examining the mouth and dealing with any tooth problems.

10) Surgery- we have a dedicated surgical theatre for performing many types of procedures from neutering to complex surgeries.

11) HT Vista – is the only non-invasive detection device specifically designed to evaluate lumps and bumps on dogs.

Sometimes more advanced equipment and specialist advice are needed and we work closely with some very good referral centres if required.
